Musical part of the tour:

  • Instructor – folk music expert Malkhaz Erkvanidze
  • Learning method – mostly by ear
  • Workshops and masterclasses every day for 4-5 hours
  • Learning Georgian folk and sacred songs
  • Practicing vocal production, tuning, ornamentation
  • Dancing folk dances
  • Practice playing Georgian folk instruments
  • Meeting local masters

 

Cultural part of the tour:

  • Excursions to historical sites, churches (Vardzia Caves, Saro Monastery, Rabati Castle, Vani Cave-Monastery, Shemokmedi Monastery and more)
  • Exploring mountainous villages and picnics in the nature
  • Cooking and tasting amazing local wine
  • Georgian style feasts – “Supra”

 

Price includes:

  • 4-5 hours of musical masterclasses with folk music expert Malkhaz Erkvanidze
